Yee Haw … it’s VBS time again. Yes, we are offering the famous $5 VBS shirts this year … as this is our 4th year to do so. We are blessed to be able to offer this to all size churches. The Saddle Ridge Ranch shirt is a 3 color and is available on a total of 5 different colors for your school this year. You can mix and match with no price difference with the colors listed. 2X and above shirts is a little additional.

Sorry, we had to take this information down due to Laura-Baldwin Stout’s email from Group Publishing telling us that we would face legal action for using the name and selling the image. It is unfortunate, we have helped many, many churches in the past who could not afford a tshirt for their kids … but Group continues to imply that we are infringing on their trademark and continues to threaten legal action against us.

High Seas Expedition, and High Seas VBS are trademarks of Group Publishing. You may not sell products that use these trademarked names without our permission. Please remove the offending material by end of day Friday, April 23, 2010. Please do not use our trademarked names or copyrighted artwork without our permission again. We are a small company that can not go up against a giant like Group. We felt we were within the permissions that they have set forth giving churches permission to use the images and names on tshirts. They tell me we can not advertise the sale of the shirts. It’s a catch-22 … you have permission … but you can’t tell people you do print it.

Again — we are sorry … our hands are tied.

Last summer was quite exciting for us. It was our third year to pull out all the stops for VBS tshirts. We started offering our VBS shirts at a discount after several smaller churches contacted us and began to inquire about a cheaper price for a small quantity. So, we did the unheard of thing … we began to offer these shirts at $5 with a free name drop. That’s a four color design for $5. It really helped a lot of churches that had struggling budget issues and so we will continue our offering another year.

These publishers allow those that buy their materials the rights and access to their files. We try and pair down the colors to make the shirt more affordable and still keep the continuity of the design with the rest of the curriculum. Then we offer the shirt on more than one color so that workers and kids can have a different shirt.

It’s worked well.

Keep watching … we will begin to post the new designs for the new year soon. I know some may think it’s early. But … some folks are just VBS junkies!
