Most of our clients know that I spent 15 years in youth ministry before going to the dark side (senior pastor 15 years). At 51 ... still feel like a kid and follow student life ministry ... a lot. I came across a really funny guy this week ... Hadley Baker ... who is a unique deal ... a mixture of original songs and immense humor. He is in my backyard ... hails from Rowlett, Texas. You have to check out his media page and especially 'internet chat room'. Funny stuff.
If you're in the metroplex and need a reference he's been to: The River Church in Rowlett. Arapaho Road Baptist Church Garland, Texas and Christian Center Church in Farmer's Branch. I haven't heard him in person ... but he gets high marks from a lot of guys I know.
